Introduction

3B Games Bowling Tournaments

Welcome to 3B Games Bowling Tournaments (each division of any tournament thereof sometimes referred to as the "Contest"). Here is your chance to take on the world and test your bowling skills. 3B Games will host three bowling tournaments each week, with each tournament containing two free divisions: a division for beginners and a division for champions. Tournaments may also contain one or more money divisions. All weekly tournaments will earn points for your Player Ranking. This is your opportunity to compete against other members and see if you are the best. The rules for the free divisions are explained fully in this document.

The Administrator

3B Games LLC (3B Games) will serve as the administrator for all Bowling Tournaments and will be responsible for resolving any disputes that arise regarding violations of applicable Official Rules or anything else that may come up in connection with any Contest.

Free Divisions

Free Divisions

Each tournament that 3B Games sets up will have two divisions - Beginners and Champions - that will be played for fun. These divisions will be free to enter, and there will not be any cash prizes. The Beginners Division will be open to all members who have not won a previous tournament division, and the Champions Division will be for previous winners. Members will be automatically place in the appropriate division upon entering.

Weekly Tournament Dates

Weekly tournaments will run from Monday 2:00 am EST until Tuesday 11:00 pm EST, from Wednesday 2:00 am EST until Thursday 11:00 pm EST, and from Friday 2:00 am EST until Sunday 11:00 pm EST. The deadline for signing up for a tournament is one hour before such tournament ends.

Tournament Signup

To sign up for a Free Division you will need to go to the Tournaments page. You can access this page by clicking on the above link, clicking on the Tournament Signup link from the Tournaments Box on the Lobby page or by clicking on the Go To Tournament Signup link in the Tournament Information Box on the Tournament page. Once you are on the Tournament Signup Page scroll down to the Bowling Tournament Signup and click the Submit Entry button. You will be taken to the Tournament Page where you will see your entry in the Tournaments Entered Box.

Playing in the Tournament

To begin play in the tournament simply click the Play link in the Tournaments Entered Table. Be sure to have your popup blocker deactivated or allow a pop up to come up on your screen. Failure to do so could result in inability to play your round, which will result in a forfeited entry. The Play link will indicate that you are on Round 1. After clicking the Play link you will be taken to the Bowling Screen, which shows the Player Name, Tournament Name, Division, and Round Number. Click the Start button when you are ready, and you will be taken to Frame 1 of your current round. Play your round within 30 minutes, after which you will be taken to the Scorecard where your score will post automatically. After the words "Score Posted Successfully" appear, you may click the Continue button whenever you have finished viewing your Scorecard. Failure to complete your round within 30 minutes from clicking the Play link will result in the forfeit of your entry.

After clicking the Continue button you will be redirected to the Tournament Page. You will notice that your score has been posted and the Play link is now on Round 2. Whenever you are ready to continue with the tournament simply follow the same steps you took in Round 1 and advance through the rounds until you have completed all 5 rounds. You must complete all 5 rounds in the time allotted for the tournament.

Forfeits

If you don't complete all 5 rounds within the allotted time or if you start a round and don't complete the game within 30 minutes, you will forfeit your entry. Players who have forfeited will not receive any Player Points for entering. Only players who complete all 5 rounds will show up on the final leaderboard.

Leaderboard

The leaderboards for all current tournament divisions can be viewed on the Tournaments Page. To view a leaderboard for a division simply choose the division from the drop down box. Leaderboards are first sorted by number of completed rounds and then sorted by score. Your current rank according to average is shown in the Place column. Your personal score will also show up in bold numbers. Forfeited rounds will be blank.

Winner

The winner of a tournament division will be the player with the highest score for 5 completed rounds. If two or more players have tied for the lead, then there will be multiple winners of the tournament. There are no tiebreakers.

Prizes

No Cash Prizes

There are not any cash prizes for participants in a Free Division.

Player Points

Players will receive player points for completing tournaments and finishing in the top ten in accordance with the following table.

Beginners Champions

1st place 10 20
2nd place 9 18
3rd place 8 16

5th place 6 12
6th place 5 10
7th place 4 8
8th place 3 6
9th place 2 4
